Features:
- Wide fixation dressing: non-sterile adhesive tape designed for secure fixation of primary dressings, compresses, tubing, catheters and medical devices.
- Transversally extensible support: elasticity adapted to joints and moving areas, conforming to anatomical contours without creating excessive tension.
- Preserves blood circulation: design preventing any compression or circulatory obstruction during movement.
- Chemically inert to rubber and plastic: compatible with tubing, probes, catheters and measuring instruments without material deterioration.
- High adhesive strength: reliable initial and permanent adhesion ensuring stable retention over time.
- Air and water vapour permeable: promotes cutaneous gas exchange and helps reduce maceration risks.
- Radiolucent: does not need to be removed before radiographic examination.
- Gentle on skin: formulation respecting sensitive skin, suitable for prolonged use.
- Customisable cut: can be cut to desired size with clean scissors for precise adaptation to the area to be covered.
- Simple and quick application: two-part protective film facilitating precise and hygienic positioning.
Instructions for use
- Appropriate cutting: cut to appropriate length using clean, sharp scissors to prevent fraying and contamination.
- Partial removal of protective film: place the dressing on a flat surface and remove the first half of the film using thumb and index finger.
- Centred application: position the dressing at the centre of the area to be fixed by handling only the protective film and backing, then remove the second part of the film.
- Smooth without tension: smooth carefully to ensure uniform adhesion, apply light pressure without stretching the support. To optimise adhesion, warm the dressing between the palms before application.
