The 70 x 70 cm format is suitable for targeted repositioning (shoulders, pelvis) or for smaller patients. The 100 x 100 cm format is recommended for full body transfers or for patients with greater body mass.
Can the tunnel slide sheet be used by one person alone?
Yes, thanks to its very low friction coefficient and tubular design that stays in place, one person can perform certain light repositioning tasks. However, for major lifting or patients with very limited mobility, two caregivers are still recommended to ensure safety and comfort.
